Own a piece of forest today

Our purchase of the forests at Burg Wiesneck and Frauensteig started the ball rolling. Thanks to many donors and supporters, we are making steady progress on restoring the natural forests at these sites. Without their support, Germany would be two real forests the poorer. Our objective is to keep purchasing additional tracts of wooded land and continue creating new natural forests.

Please help us to achieve our goals by making a donation or contribution or by becoming an associate. Own your very own piece of original ECHTWALD forest!

For each €1,000 you donate, you will receive one square metre of renaturalized ECHTWALD forest at Frauensteig as your own property, documented by an ECHTWALD certificate of ownership. Additionally, you will receive a precise site map that tells you exactly where to set your picnic basket when you visit your own piece of forest.

Extract from the foundation articles, § 2, Purpose of the Foundation:

“The purpose of the Foundation is to promote nature conservancy and the preservation of the countryside in accordance with the German Federal Nature Conservation Act, the nature conservation acts of the German states, and the principles of environmental protection; to promote science and research, education and popular education, art and culture; and to foster civic involvement toward these non-commercial objectives. In order to realize these ecological, botanical, scientific, pedagogic, and artistic goals, the Foundation will develop and support forest products geared towards the effective and sustainable conversion of commercial forests into virgin forests by applying scientifically developed, situation-specific concepts.”
